It's long time that i din ever update my blog.
Seriously, it is very busy for me recently.
In 2013, i had learnt a lot of things.
As I was a tuition center tutor and also private tutor, I found out that different family has their own ways of teaching their children. Besides, they have different perception towards the subject of "Mandarin".
I was a private tutor for a kindergarten student. She is just a 5 years old Indian kid who wants to learn mandarin. Her parents plan to send her to Chinese Primary school when she is seven years old. However, her mandarin is too weak that she can't even understand what am I talking about. I have to teach her step by step from the beginning.
Meanwhile, I also a mandarin teacher in a tuition center, teaching Standard 1 and Standard 3. One of the Standard 1 student came from a rich family as the way she speak and dress had gave me an impression that she is a rich girl. She is a very clever student, but her mandarin is very weak. With no interested in mandarin, she don't really put her effort in doing any mandarin works. Her mother told me that the girl don't like mandarin and she don't have the interest to learn, as she did not study mandarin when she was in kindergarten. Her mother wants her to learn the basic word of the mandarin and she might drop her mandarin class when she was in standard 4.
Through teaching these kids, i realized that for chinese, mandarin class is not important for them. However, even Indian also want to learn our mother tongue language. Hmm.. a bit disappointed of that. Chinese should learn and master our own language!!
Next, i would like to talk about visitation to orphanage.
This is my first time to visit orphanage. I was quite excited at first. But, at the end, i was quite sad and disappointed. The committees were too many that some of them were just sit down and chit chat with each other only but not helping. Furthermore, the kids are too naughty and some of them are just ignore me. (ping plang~ heart broken) We can't scold them as they are orphans and they don't have parents to educate them the proper way to behave. Suddenly...I felt that actually i was a very lucky person. I have a family who loves me so much and educate me well so that I become an intelligent person. This is just our first visitation, we still have 9 more orphanages. Good luck to us. :D
In addition, I just seldom talk to my family already. ( not totally not talking. but just become less )
As I was staying in subang, I will be going back home at Friday evening. After that, I have to rush to work as private tutor till 9pm. After a tiring day, normally i will sleep very early at night.
I will wake up early in Saturday morning to go for work again in a tuition center till 1pm. This month consider a busy month for me as there are a lot of tests, assignment and events to be handled. So, normally, i will spend my weekend at home to study and do assignment. : ( I feel like I am no more close with my siblings~
Sometimes, I was touches when my mother called me at night in Subang. She cares me by asking me what am I doing. She always advise me to eat more fruits and healthy food when staying alone in Subang. (Sob* Sob* T____T). As I was busy of my work and study, sometimes I will forget about my family. But, if i am free and feel lonely at home, I will start missing my family. There is no one to talk in my room, but only got teddy bear. HAHAHAHAAHAHA~ and korean drama and anime who always accompany to kill me time. Sometimes, I will wonder, when can I meet my Mr right ya? The one who can bring me out in Subang and kill my boredom. (I will wonder if i feel lonely in any places) hehehe.
Anyways, all these are the challenges and lesson that i had learnt so far in this year. :)
I hope I can get selected in Student Exchange Program to study in US, so that i can enhance my experiences. :)
hehe, i enjoy being in a place where there is none recognize me and i can learn their culture. HEHEHE
